Litoral Trace — U.S. Lacey Act Compliance

Refund Policy

Version 2026-10-01-v1

Important

Litoral Trace provides declaration-preparation and evidence-management software for business users. It does not provide legal advice, make an automatic legal-compliance determination, or submit government filings on the customer's behalf.

Business purchases only

Litoral Trace is a business-to-business software service intended exclusively for companies, importers, customs brokers, compliance professionals, and other authorized business users. Subscriptions are purchased for commercial and professional use and are not intended for personal or consumer use.

Final and non-refundable charges

Except where a refund is required by applicable law or must be issued by our Merchant of Record, all purchases, subscription fees, renewals, and other charges for Litoral Trace are final and non-refundable once successfully charged.

No prorated refunds or credits

Litoral Trace does not provide prorated refunds, partial refunds, service credits, or account credits for partial billing periods, unused days, unused Lacey Act operations, unused document-processing capacity, reduced usage, account inactivity, or cancellation before the end of a paid billing period.

Cancellation and continued access

Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not reverse or refund a charge that has already been processed. After cancellation, the customer will retain access to the subscribed Litoral Trace platform, including its U.S. Lacey Act declaration-preparation tools, through the end of the then-current paid monthly billing period. Access will terminate or revert to any applicable non-paid status when that billing period ends.

No refund for unused service after cancellation

Choosing not to use the service after cancellation, or using only part of the remaining billing period, does not create a right to a refund or credit.

Billing errors and mandatory refunds

If you believe a charge was duplicated, unauthorized, or processed in error, contact Litoral Trace promptly so the transaction can be reviewed. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Merchant of Record

Payments for Litoral Trace may be processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for applicable transactions. Where Paddle is required by applicable law, payment-network rules, or its Merchant of Record obligations to issue or administer a refund, that requirement will control to the extent legally necessary.
